TAKE FOLLOWING STEPS TO DO AWAY WITH PROCRASTINATION:
I. REFORM YOUR HABITS: Develop the habit of not putting up tomorrow what you can do today. Always remember to reform your bad habits, which are always fertilized and watered by yourself and none else.
II. UNDERSTAND YOUR WORK: If you don’t understand your work, get mastery over it through somebody, or hand over such an assignment to someone who is adept in it.
III. DIVIDE THE WORK IN PARTS: If heavy work is divided in parts it will seem easy to do and its quality will also be maintained. Heavy work done hurried may get spoiled.
IV. ASSESS YOU YOUR EFFICIENCY: Accept your assignment, as per your capacity and energy, otherwise instead of accomplishing, it may become a burden on your mind, thereby causing delay.
V. AVOID LONG REST: Stick to your priorities right from morning to evening. Avoid long periods of rest, when short intervals can recoup your energy.
VI. ORGANIZE TASKS: By setting time limits for the day’s tasks and activities you can organize your routine in a well ordered manner, thereby saving time and energy.
VII. ONE WORK AT A TIME: By simultaneously taking into hand various tasks you may not be able to accomplish them properly in time, thereby causing burden on the mind, in addition to wastage of energy.
VIII. AVOID MOODINESS: Don’t be guided by variations in your mood. Instead, always keep in mind your object to be achieved. Lack of definite chief aim also results into falling a prey to your moods.
X. KEEP PHYSICALLY FIT: Take care of your health. If you daily feel tired due to no obvious reason, you may check up with the doctor whether you are suffering from some ailment.
